Summer Softball Travel Info

·         12 to 14 girl roster

·         Girls work one “tag day” where they hold cups to collect money to help fund their season (optional opt out of $50)

·         Girls receive a uniform consisting of a visor, game shirt with name (sleeveless), practice t-shirt with name, shorts and socks

·         Practice at least once a week Saturday 8AM to 10AM

·         Batting practices, scrimmages, additional practices optionally scheduled at random

Expectations

·         Commitment to the team (2 games per week usually Tues and Thurs or Monday and Wed)

·         12 game regular season (6 home 6 away) plus playoffs (playoffs are 1 game elimination)

·         Arrive at games 30 mins prior to start time for warm ups (coaching staff decision minimum 15 minutes)

·         Continuous batting order (everyone bats)

·         Possible tournament entry (coaching staff decision, tournaments are generally a two day event on the weekends)
